Meditation Concerts – The Listening Body

With Annabel Guaita and Piotr Marcinów

Norges Yogafestival at Nøsen Yoga og Fjellhotell 21.-26.7.

Our sessions are a unique blend of six different classical piano pieces, meditations, and deep listening. The goal is to help you become fully present in body and mind to be able to fully surrender to the music. Here's how the journey unfolds:

1. Welcome & Introduction (10 minutes)
You’ll hear the full musical piece once, simply as a first encounter with the music.

2. Meditation (20 minutes)
With Piotr as your guide, we ease into meditative exercises for calmness, openness, and receptivity — creating a grounded space for deep listening.

3. Guided Listening (40 minutes)
Now we return to the music. This time, you’ll be gently guided through a deeper listening experience with Annabel as Lyttelos. We open a space for phenomenological listening: an approach that focuses on how we experience the music in the moment, through the body, mind, and senses. You are welcome to share your reflections aloud or simply remain silent and present. There are no right or wrong answers — only your own, lived experience.

4. Closing with the Music (5 minutes)
We end by playing the piece again. Having journeyed through meditation and active listening, you’ll likely hear and feel it in a completely new way.
